Morrison Avenue Bowling Club (Inc)

A vibrant, friendly helpful bowling club heading into the future!

Morrison Avenue Bowling Club Inc. was established in 1959, has two cottula Greens approximately 36 metres by 36 metres. We are located at 30 Morrison Avenue in the Papanui/Casebrook area of Christchurch.
Morrison Avenue Runs between Sawyers Arms Road and Langdons Road.

We provide bowling greens 7 days a week for both Female and Male players of all ages and abilities.
Our season runs from  approximately the third Saturday in September to the second Saturday in April.
During the winter season we have indoor bowling (with outdoor bowls) each week with Ladies playing on Mondays and Wednesdays and the Men on Tuesdays and Fridays with Mixed on Saturdays, plus a Mixed evening each Thursday.

During the summer season we run two Men's Triple tournaments and two Ladies Triples Tournaments and two Mixed Triples, one in October and the other in January (see our Tournament page for details).
These are all in addition to annual club members tournaments and three social annual inter-club  games.

We also run a very successful Business House Tournament which  starts in January and runs for 6-weeks on Wednesday Evenings between 6-15 pm and 8-15 pm. This is a fours tournament and each team must have a minimum of two  non-bowlers and may have a maximum of two bowlers. This normally fills both Greens.
